Iona Farms Virginia Dare

Virginia Dare is a sorrel mare. She is a cute little girl. Her sire is Lyncliffs Rio Dare, who brings the bloodlines of the multiple World Champion, Daring Difference. Her dam is Iona Farms Make a Wish, who was an outstanding driving horse for us, and now is a top brood mare. Her bloodlines include Top Banana and Buckeroo.

Sparkle and Shine is a sweet mare. She is a daughter of Little Kings Cosmic Dream, our Buckeroo grandson. His dam is a daughter of Iona Bright Sparkler, who carries Egyptian King and Rowdy bloodlines. She had a beautiful foal in 2023.

Liberty Belle is a chestnut pinto mare. She is a daughter of Luck’s Understudy (L&D Scout bloodlines) and Iona Farms Miss Independence, who is out of Sami’s Lil Moonman (Top Banana bloodlines). She is a flashy pinto with lots of chrome. Liberty Belle was shown in 2015. Her first foal was a beautiful colt who sold as soon as he was weaned. She also had a filly in 2019 and a colt in 2022.

Chardonay is a chestnut pinto. She is a great cross of the L&D Scout bloodlines (sire: Lucks Understudy), and Double Destiny (dam: JSW Devine Wine). Chardonay is a sweet mare that is easy to handle. She has shown in both halter and driving. We had never bred her, hoping to get her back in the show ring. We decided to breed her this year.and she is in foal to 27 1/2" First Quarter. She would make a great show horse for someone, or a broodmare who should add chrome to her babies.

Bay Enchantress is line bred with the L&D Scout bloodlines with great success. Her dam is Iona Farms Luck Be a Lady, a Scout granddaughter. Her sire is Fallen Ash Eagles Sorcerer, a Scout grandson. This is a well put together mare who is refined and leggy. Enchantress loves to show off and will willingly strike a pose to prove it to you. Add the best of the L&D Scout breeding to your herd.
